"Volunteer"

When Mrs Grindstone looked at me and asked for a volunteer, i knew it was something that i could not get out of easily. I looked at her and knew i had to do it.

So i tried to act shy but Mrs Grindstone didn’t fall for it, so i had to do it. As i was going up as the volunteer i was nervous because i didn’t know what i was volunteered to do.

She told me to act out a story that she was reading and that was called “the night of the ball”. the story was going on and on until it  got interesting as she was reading i was picturing  about what she was saying.

i was listening very close to her story, and felt the meaning of the story it wasn’t the perfect story but it was a very nice and touching story. when the story was coming to an end i didn’t want it to end but it was a book it always ends in a way.

then after class i asked mrs grindstone for the book she was reading. i really wanted to read it again so took the book from her and went home and read it from the beginning to the end.

Thanks to Vanila for editing my work.

Vincent Van Gogh

This week we did rotations for art alive, In room 22 we were learning about Vincent Van Gogh. We had to draw one of his sunflowers. Mrs Nua Told us to star lighten the sunflower and to paint in the short brushstrokes of the Impressionists.

Vincent Van Gogh had a rough life in his twenties.

but I really like his art its outstanding and his colours are really natural.
